About me
Marybeth Henry, NAEMT, works for the Prince William County Department of Fire and Rescue as the Lead EMS Curriculum Instructor and Accreditation Coordinator. She is also a dedicated volunteer with Sterling Rescue in Loudoun County, where she is the Lieutenant for Probationary Training. Her commitment has earned her recognition as both Member of the Year (2014) and Officer of the Year (2025) with Sterling Rescue. She has 15 years of teaching EMS, including over 8 years in the high schools, as well as experience teaching community classes in CPR, Stop the Bleed, Stroke Recognition, Mental Health First Aid and more. Beyond her local work, Marybeth serves as the EMS Pathway Director for the Law and Public Safety Education Network and is also a Volunteer Advocate Trainer for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and has presented nationally on leadership, safety, and mental health. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University.
